The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State volleyball player Anna Rantala before her team’s practice on Nov. 3. The freshman middle blocker from Finland had five kills in the Panthers’ 3-0 win over South Alabama on Oct. 30, ending the Panthers’ 10-match Sun Belt Conference losing streak. Topics included Rantala’s increased playing time, the team’s improved play and her journey from Finland to Atlanta.
Georgia State returns to action on Friday, Nov. 6 against Arkansas State and Saturday, Nov. 7 vs. Georgia Southern at home.
