The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of Georgia State head coach Shawn Elliott following the team’s 52-38 home win over Arkansas State on Oct. 5 which was the most points in program history against an FBS opponent. Georgia State rushed for a school-record 340 yards along with a school-record six rushing touchdowns, while combining for 722 total yards which also was a school record.

Topics included the victory, the record-setting offensive effort, earning a Sun Belt Conference win on homecoming day, rebounding from the loss at Texas State in the previous game and the home crowd.

The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of Georgia State football player Dan Ellington following the team’s 52-38 home win over Arkansas State on Oct. 5. He threw for a career-high 382-yards. He added 69 yards on 19 rushing attempts for the Panthers who scored the most points in program history against an FBS opponent. Georgia State combining for 722 total yards which also was a school record.
