Time for my NFL Predictions for this week.

Music to listen to: Wax Simulacra by The Mars Volta

Let’s get straight to the picks (home team in CAPS):

INDIANAPOLIS (-7) Cincinnati: The Colts will get back on track against a struggling Bengals squad

Houston (+1.5) JACKSONVILLE: I’m just taking the more talented team.

Tennessee (PK) MIAMI: Bummed that I’m not living in Nashville anymore to get the entire Randy Moss experience in high definition. It was a smart, calculated risk by the Titans.

CHICAGO (+1) Minnesota: There’s no reason that the Vikings should be a favorite on the road against any squad not named Buffalo. I know the Bears are bad but the Vikings aren’t great either.

Detroit (+2) BUFFALO: I don’t like seeing teams struggle to the level the Bills are, especially with their loyal fans. However, Detroit is on the uptick, even with the injury to Matt Stafford.

NY Jets (-3) CLEVELAND: Fun matchup between the Ryan brothers but I’m taking the better team on the road.

TAMPA (-7) Carolina: The line could be 10 points and I would still take the Bucs

Kansas City (-1) DENVER: Why has the bad coaching job of Josh McDaniels not been publicized more?

St. Louis (+5.5) SAN FRANCISCO: When it comes to the NFC West, it’s a crap shoot.

Seattle (+3) Arizona: See above

Dallas (+13.5) NY GIANTS: The Cowboys are still losing but not by that much.

PITTSBURGH (-4.5) New England: Whoever wins this game is the AFC favorite to make it to the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia (-3) WASHINGTON: When the Redskins lose this contest, what excuse will Mike Shanahan use for Donovan McNabb’s bad play. He’s already called the quarterback dumb and out of shape. My nomination is that he says McNabb didn’t pay the bill at a dinner they had last week, therefore he’s cheap.

Those are my thoughts, what are yours?
