As a sports media professional for more than 10 years, E. Marcel Pourtout has worked at numerous college athletic departments including Belmont University and the College of Charleston. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Marcel earned his undergraduate degree in English from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in sport administration from Belmont University. He also worked at TNA Sports Entertainment, based in Nashville, Tenn., as a marketing coordinator.
Currently, Marcel serves as the sports editor for the North Fulton Neighbor and Northside Neighbor, two media entities in coordination with the Marietta Daily Journal. He also does freelance work with Kennesaw State University Athletics and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
