The Sports Inquirer attended the Signing Day presser of Georgia State football head coach Shawn Elliott on Feb. 6. Topics included the Panthers signing seven additional players to their 2019 class particularly wide receivers Cadarrius Thompson, Jamari Thrash and placekicker Michael Hayes, working with two separate signing days for the second-consecutive year and preparing for spring practice which starts in March.

The Sports Inquirer attended the post-game presser of Georgia State men’s basketball player Jeff Thomas following his team’s 81-72 home win over Georgia Southern in Sun Belt Conference action on Feb. 2. He scored 10 points with six rebounds in the victory. Topics included thoughts on the win and having a putback dunk late in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.
