The Sports Inquirer attended the press conference of Atlanta United interim manager Rob Valentino August 13 ahead of the team’s home tilt against LAFC August 15. Topics included the announcement of Gonzalo Pineda as the new manager earlier in the week, Valentino staying on the coaching staff as an assistant, the team’s improved play under him, communicating with Pineda, the training of new acquisition Luiz Araulo and the team preparing to host LAFC.
