Time for my NFL Predictions for Week 11

Music to listen to: Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt by The Mars Volta

Here are my picks (home team in CAPS)

PITTSBURGH (-7) Oakland: Two factors with this pick. First, you have a west coast team traveling across the country to play the early game. Second, the Steelers are going to bounce back from their loss to New England last week.

NY Jets (-6.5) Houston: The Texans season ended last week with the Hail Mary loss at Jacksonville.

Baltimore (-11.5) CAROLINA: As much as I would like to see Brian St. Pierre succeed (Boston College in the house), the Ravens are too good.

Washington (+7) TENNESSEE: The Titans are the better team but I have an odd feeling that the Redskins will make this close.

Detroit (+6) DALLAS: I don’t buy the Cowboys at all even though they had a nice game at the Giants last week. They will go back to their bad habits. Dallas may still win but it will be by less than the line.

Green Bay (-3) MINNESOTA: The over/under of the mentions during the contest that this may be the last time Brett Farve will face Green Bay is 6.5

Buffalo (+5) CINCINNATI: The good times continue for Buffalo in my upset of the week.

KANSAS CITY (-7.5) Arizona: Hopefully Kansas City head coach Todd Haley has stop complaining about the Broncos running up the score enough to prepare a game plan for this contest.

NEW ORLEANS (-11.5) Seattle: If the Saints are going to make a run, this is the time to start.

ST. LOUIS (+3) Atlanta: Falcons fans are feeling themselves a little too much right now. Yes, an argument can be made that Atlanta is the top team in the NFL right now but we’re barely past the halfway mark of the regular season. Slow your role and hope that your squad doesn’t have a letdown against a spunky St. Louis team that is solid at home.

Tampa (+3.5) SAN FRANCISCO: This is a coin flip and as of 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 21, I’m taking the Bucs.

NEW ENGLAND (-4) Indy: The Patriots are simply the better team at this moment.

PHILADELPHIA (-3) NY Giants: The Eagles are simply…

SAN DIEGO (-9.5) Denver: Interesting contest because whoever wins this contest because similar to the Saints, the Chargers need to make a run now if they want to win the AFC West. However, Denver isn’t awful and can spring the upset. I’ll take the home squad.

Those are my thoughts, what are yours?
