Here are the picks (home team in CAPS):
INDINAPOLIS (-2) Kansas City: Rejoice Colts fans, you will finally get to see your team get its first victory of the 2011 campaign.
MINNESOTA (-3) Arizona: Rejoice Vikings fans…
Philadelphia (-3) BUFFALO: Neither team can play good defense and I’ll pick the Eagles to win in a shootout.
Oakland (+5.5) HOUSTON: I expect a close contest with both of the teams’ running backs dictating the pace of a methodical contest.
New Orleans (-6.5) CAROLINA: The Panthers have to start running the ball more and stop relying on Cam Newton to pass them to victories. Newton’s stats are outstanding but Carolina needs to cut his passing in half if it expects to get more wins this year.
Cincinnati (+2.5) JACKSONVILLE: I have much more confidence in Andy Dalton right now than Blaine Gabbert.
PITTSBURGH (-3) Tennessee: The Steelers, despite injuries and age, always seem to find a way to win these type of home games.
Seattle (+9.5) NY GIANTS: I just see the Seahawks finding a way to cover.
SAN FRANCISCO (-3) Tampa: I like the direction that the 49ers are heading and see them continuing the momentum at home.
NY Jets (+7.5) NEW ENGLAND: I know the Jets look like a mess right now but they always play the Patriots tough and need this victory to salvage the season.
San Diego (-3.5) DENVER: The Chargers can put up a big number in this game.
Atlanta (+6) Green Bay: If the Falcons expect to do anything this year in the postseason, a victory over the Packers is necessary.
DETROIT (-5) Chicago: Easiest pick of the week…
