Music to listen to:  Fahrenheit by At The Drive-In

One of my favorite bands ever, At The Drive-In reunited at Coachella last weekend and it was great to see them.  While I may be critical and over-analytical about the live performance, the fact is that those five guys finally put grudges aside and put together a solid set.

The relationship that this reunion and my lack of posts on the Inquirer has finally become tangible to me.  Lately, I’ve been over-thinking the content of the Inquirer and trying to make it perfect.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat down in front of my computer, start typing and stop five minutes later because I found a mistake or didn’t think that anyone would be interested in what I was saying.  I’ve read some negative reviews of the ATDI show at Coachella last week and the reality is that we should focus less on the actual show, which wasn’t as bad as some people would have you think, but more on the fact that those five guys reunited after being separated musically for more than a decade and played the songs that many of us have enjoyed over the years.

Therefore, screw the internal mental blocks and just write, Etienne Marcel.
