KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team looks to make strides this season with a challenging slate of games as second-year head coach Eduardo Rincon officially announced the Owls’ 2014-15 schedule on Thursday.

“We’re looking forward to our fall and spring schedules,” said Rincon. “Our fall schedule will help our team to develop by playing a lot of matches against some very good competition. During the spring, our non-conference schedule will challenge our team and give us great opportunities against highly regarded teams in the region and nation. This high-level of competition will get us ready for our Atlantic Sun Conference matches, which are always tough and very intense.”

KSU serves up the fall season starting on Friday, Sept. 19-21, when the Owls head to Troy for a weekend tournament followed by a Sept. 26-28, tournament in Atlanta, Ga., in the Georgia Tech Invitational.

The Owls will take on the competition at the College of Charleston Invite on Oct. 10-12, with ITA Southeast Regional action taking place on Oct. 16-20, in Athens, Ga.

The fall will wrap-up on Oct. 24-26, with an invitational at in-state rival Georgia Southern.

The spring championship season begins with a bang on Jan. 18, at 1 p.m. ET as the Owls head into downtown Atlanta for a match against cross-town foe Georgia State. It’s then back to Statesboro, Ga. for a meeting with Georgia Southern on Jan. 23.

A trip to Florida then awaits the Owls on Valentine’s Day, heading to Miami to take on the Hurricanes followed by a match at Florida Atlantic one day later.

The Owls are back at home on Feb. 21, hosting Liberty before heading to Macon, Ga. to face off against Mercer in a heated showdown.

KSU will then head to Jacksonville State and Austin Peay before hosting Alabama State on March 14 and heading back to Troy one day later on March 15.

A-Sun competition starts on March 19, hosting Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday and Stetson on Saturday. The Owls then hit the road for three straight matches, playing North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. on March 26 followed by a match at Georgia Tech on March 29.
