Graff turned in her first career double-goal match in Florida’s season opening win versus Miami. Her first goal at 7:47 scored the first of her two goals of the match at 7:47 – the fourth quickest season opening goal for the Gators and the fastest since 1999. To score, Graff deflected a clearance attempt and then put the ball from a yard. She put in a 10-yard shot in the 65th minute to become the sixth Gator to open a season with a double-goal effort. In Sunday’s 2-0 win versus South Florida, she provided an assist on the game-winning goal.
CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gabby Seiler, Georgia

Seiler came away with five points on Georgia’s opening weekend, already surpassing her total from all of the 2013 season (four). Her goal vs. Ole Miss on Friday night put Georgia on top before halftime, with the Rebels eventually equalizing in the 1-1 draw. On Sunday, her penalty-kick goal in the second half put Georgia on top of UNCG 2-0 at the time on their way to the 3-0 shutout victory, while she also had tacked on an assist on Marion Crowder’s game-winning goal earlier in the half.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kelly McCormick, Ole Miss
GK • 5-7 • Sr. • Laguna Nigel, Calif.
McCormick came up big for the Rebels in an undefeated weekend, including hitting the game-winning goal on a penalty kick and posting a shutout of Iowa State along with a draw against Georgia. Turned away several attacks in the 2 OT draw with Georgia to open the season to allow her team a chance to rally for the tie and a point in the SEC standings. Scored the game-winner with her first collegiate goal as she hit a PK against Iowa State. Posted her first shutout of the season and has started in goal for 21 shutouts in her career now for the Rebels.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Louise Hogrell, Georgia
GK • 5-7 • Asa, Sweden
Hogrell helped Georgia to a 1-0-1 opening weekend with a tie on the road Friday at Ole Miss and a win Saturday over UNC Greensboro, combining for nine saves and one shutout in her first weekend with the Bulldogs. Of UNCG’s six total shots on Sunday, five were on goal, and Hogrell answered – stopping all five in registering the first blank sheet of her career.
