Offensive Player of the WeekRhamat Alhassan • FloridaFreshman • MB • 6-4 • Glenarden, Md.Alhassan led Florida with a .575 clip (4.50 k/s), 5.58 points/s and 2.0 blocks/s last week as the Gators downed No. 13 San Diego and No. 6 USC on the road in straight sets to improve to 5-2 on the season with their first wins against ranked opponents, including career victory No. 800 for Florida head coach Mary Wise against the Trojans. Her .800 clip against San Diego marked the third time this season for Alhassan above .750 in a single match, all three times error free, while her 16 kills and 19.0 points were both career-best outputs.

Defensive Player of the WeekJackie Napper • KentuckySenior • L • 5-7 • Louisville, Ky.Napper led the Wildcats defensively with 80 digs in four matches this week. She began the week by charting a career-high 26 digs a season-high six assists in the win against Louisville, while going perfect in the serve-receive line in 31 attempts. Napper then matched her career-best total a match later with 26 digs against No. 17 North Carolina. She had a match-high 15 scoops vs. VCU, before logging 13 against Georgia Southern while also adding six assists. Now with 1,163 career digs, Napper has moved into sixth place all-time in UK’s career digs record lists.

Freshman of the WeekStephanie Aiple • Texas A&MFreshman • S • 6-1 • Round Rock, TexasAiple was named to the USC Classic all-tournament team after setting A&M to a 2-0 record with victories against both No. 6 USC and No. 13 San Diego. She directed a balanced A&M offense that hit above .300 against each ranked opponent and hit a combined .312 for the week. Aiple dished out a career-high 56 assists as A&M hit .319 and defeated No. 6 USC, 3-2, to record its highest ranked road victory since 1999. She had 43 assists as A&M hit .303 in the victory against No. 13 San Diego. Aiple averaged 10.82 assists per set and was third on the team with 2.27 digs per set.
