Corey Clement, Wisconsin

So., RB, Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro

  • Averaged 9.4 yards per carry by rushing for 131 yards on 14 attempts, including two touchdowns, in a win at Rutgers
  • Recorded touchdown runs of 43 and 36 yards
  • Ranks eighth among Big Ten players with 101.8 rushing yards per game in conference contests
  • Records the first Offensive Player of the Week award of his career

Co-Defensive Players of the Week

Louis Trinca-Pasat, Iowa

Sr., DT, Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech

  • Registered five tackles and three sacks to guide the Hawkeyes a victory over Northwestern
  • His three sacks were a career high and matched the most by a Big Ten player this season
  • Led a defensive unit that held the Wildcats to 180 yards, including 55 yards in the first half
  • Claims his first career Defensive Player of the Week honor

Jake Ryan, Michigan

Sr., LB, Westlake, Ohio/St. Ignatius

  • Recorded 11 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles in Michigan’s win over Indiana
  • The two forced fumbles were the most by a Big Ten player this season
  • Moved into a tie for second place on Michigan’s career forced fumbles list with seven
  • Earns his third career Defensive Player of the Week honor and second of the season

Special Teams Player of the Week

Sam Ficken, Penn State

Sr., K, Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso

  • Made all four of his field goal attempts, with conversions from 47, 25, 46 and 48 yards
  • Became the first Penn State kicker since 1982 to make three field goals of at least 45 yards in a game
  • Matched a career high with four field goals, equaling his performance against Central Florida on Aug. 30, 2014
  • Claims his fourth career Special Teams Player of the Week honor and second of the season
  • Last Penn State Special Teams Player of the Week: Sam Ficken (Sept. 1, 2014)

Freshman of the Week

Akrum Wadley, Iowa

RB, Newark, N.J./Weequahic

  • Recorded 15 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown in a win over Northwestern
  • Averaged 7.1 yards per carry, with runs of 23 and 26 yards and a five-yard touchdown
  • Became the first Hawkeye to rush for more than 100 yards in his first game with a carry since 2009
  • Wins his first Freshman of the Week award
