- His three sacks were a career high and matched the most by a Big Ten player this season
- Led a defensive unit that held the Wildcats to 180 yards, including 55 yards in the first half
- Claims his first career Defensive Player of the Week honor

Jake Ryan, Michigan

- Recorded 11 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles in Michigan’s win over Indiana
- The two forced fumbles were the most by a Big Ten player this season
- Moved into a tie for second place on Michigan’s career forced fumbles list with seven
- Earns his third career Defensive Player of the Week honor and second of the season

Special Teams Player of the Week
Sam Ficken, Penn State
Sr., K, Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso
- Made all four of his field goal attempts, with conversions from 47, 25, 46 and 48 yards
- Became the first Penn State kicker since 1982 to make three field goals of at least 45 yards in a game
- Matched a career high with four field goals, equaling his performance against Central Florida on Aug. 30, 2014
- Claims his fourth career Special Teams Player of the Week honor and second of the season

Freshman of the Week
Akrum Wadley, Iowa

- Recorded 15 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown in a win over Northwestern

- Became the first Hawkeye to rush for more than 100 yards in his first game with a carry since 2009
- Wins his first Freshman of the Week award
