Georgia Tech football ranked in national polls

After securing its fourth eight-win season of the Paul Johnson era, Georgia Tech has returned to the latest AP and Amway Coaches Top 25 polls released Sunday. The Yellow Jackets are No. 24 in the AP and No. 23 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

Georgia Tech, ranked No. 24 in the latest College Football Playoff Top 25, is ranked in the AP and Amway Coaches polls for the second time this season. The Jackets were ranked 22nd (AP) and 23rd (Coaches) on Oct. 5 following their 5-0 start.

Georgia Tech (8-2, 5-2), who has won three straight games, hosts No. 17 Clemson (7-2, 6-1) for its home finale Saturday at noonon ESPN.
