Notice, a 6-foot-2, 221-pound sophomore guard from Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada, was named co-SEC Player of the Week after averaging 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and three assists in wins over Marshall and Oklahoma State. Notice posted back-to-back 20-point performances for the first time in his career, including hitting a career high 27 points in a road win at Marshall. He hit over 50 percent from the field in both contests, including a 10-of-18 performance at Marshall, along with five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Notice scored 20 points against Oklahoma State, including 12 points in the second half, helping the Gamecocks to victory.

Caruso, a 6-foot-5, 184-pound junior guard from College Station, Texas, was named co-SEC Player of the Week after averaging 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals in wins over Sam Houston State and Arizona State. Caruso made 9-of-11 field goal attempts against ASU, including 2-of-3 from 3-point range, to contribute a season-high 23 points. He also produced game-highs in rebounds (6), assists (6) and steals (6), becoming the first Aggie to tally at least 20 points With ASU leading by 10 (60-50) and 11:34 to play, Caruso put the Aggies on his back by scoring 13 of the Aggies’ final 22 points during the late-game rally.

Kentucky’s Karl-Anthony Towns, a 6-foot-11, 255-pound forward from Piscataway, N.J., was named SEC Freshman of the Week after averaging 14.5 points, six rebounds and two blocks in wins over sixth-ranked Texas and Eastern Kentucky. In the 63-51 victory over the Longhorns, Towns scored 10 points and made all six of his free throws in just 16 minutes of play. Against Eastern Kentucky, Towns scored a career-high 19 points – 12 of which came in the first half – and grabbed nine rebounds, just missing out on his second career double-double. He did all that in 23 minutes. Towns knocked down his first career 3-pointer in the EKU win and made 8 of 9 at the free-throw line.
