The Atlanta Hawks extended their winning streak to a franchise-record 16 games with a 112-100 home victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Philips Arena on Sunday night.

Atlanta (37-8) have now won 30 of their last 32 games while Minnesota (7-36) has now dropped four straight.

The Hawks had a balanced attack with six players in double-figures, including all five starters. Paul Millsap had a team-high 20 points while Al Horford scored 19. Overall, Atlanta shot 56.9 percent from the field and made 10 three-pointers.

Thaddeus Young had a game-high 26 points for Minnesota. The Timberwolves shot 52.1 percent in the loss and outrebounded the Hawks 37-29.

Atlanta took a 25-24 lead after the first quarter of action. The Hawks outscored the Timberwolves 36-23 in the second quarter to take a 61-47 halftime lead into halftime.

Jeff Teague had a game-high 11 first-half points for the Hawks while Millsap and Horford each scored 10. Teague finished the game with 15 points and game-high seven assists. Overall, Atlanta shot 61 percent from the field in the first half, making seven out of 15 three-pointers.

Mo Williams scored a team-high 10 points for Minnesota while Gorgui Dieng had nine points. Williams finished the game with 20 points while Dieng didn’t score another point in the game. The Timberwolves struggled from the field in the first half, shooting only 39 percent from the field and converting only three out of 10 three-pointers.
