georgia state logoRelease from Georgia State Athletics:

Georgia State has completed its 2015 non-conference football slate with the addition of Mid-American Conference foe Ball State.

The Panthers will play at Ball State on Oct. 17, 2015 in the first game of a two-year series. Georgia State will open the 2016 season by hosting the Cardinals on Sept. 1 or 2 at the Georgia Dome.

Georgia State’s games against Ball State will be the Panthers’ first against a MAC foe.

The addition of Ball State was necessary after UAB, with whom Georgia State had a home-and-home in 2015-16, discontinued its program.

Along with Ball State, the Panthers host Charlotte (Sept. 3 or 4) and Liberty (Oct. 3) next fall while playing at national championship game participant Oregon (Sept. 19).
