We caught up with Georgia State softball player Callie Alford following her team’s 12-4 road victory over Kennesaw State on April 8. The senior infielder/catcher is the all-time program leader in home runs and one RBI shy of the program record as well. This season, Alford has 11 home runs and 43 RBIs. Topics included the win over Kennesaw State, her performance this season, nomination for the Senior CLASS Award, an award given to the top senior player in the nation and the Panthers competing for a conference championship.
