We spoke with Georgia State sand volleyball head coach Beth Van Fleet during practice on campus in Atlanta on April 14. She has led the Panthers to an 18-1 record and a No. 7 team ranking in the  American Volleyball Coaches Association’s poll.

Topics included the strong season for Georgia State, helping the team reach qualification for the national championships, launching the sand volleyball program, her experiences playing with the Panthers as an indoor player and the growth of sand volleyball in the Southeast.
