Release from Georgia Tech Athletics:

Georgia Tech senior defensive lineman Adam Gotsis has been named to the 2015 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List.

Named after Pro Football Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, the Lott IMPACT Trophy recognizes the nation’s top defensive player in terms of his impact both on and off the field.

As a junior in 2014, Gotsis was a second-team All-ACC selection, accumulating 36 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and two blocked kicks. He has also been named to the Dean’s List and the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

The Abbotsford, Australia, native was part of a Georgia Tech defense that forced 29 turnovers and tied a school record with six defensive touchdowns scored.
