Georgia Tech junior Maddie Lionberger earned All-ACC second team honors as voted on by the league’s 11 head coaches, the conference office announced Thursday. It marks the second career All-ACC selection for Lionberger after earning first-team honors in 2014.

Lionberger started every conference game at second base and led the team with a .377 batting average, a.604 slugging percentage and a .476 on-base percentage in ACC play. The Austin, Texas, native led the team with 11 runs and was second on the team with 20 hits and 10 walks in ACC play.

Ten schools were represented on the 2014 All-ACC Teams, led by Florida State and Notre Dame with six representatives apiece. North Carolina had four, while Louisville, NC State and Pitt had three honorees each. Syracuse had two while Boston College, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech each had one representative.
