The Sports Inquirer caught up with Georgia State baseball player Matt Rose following his team’s 7-4 non-conference road win over Kennesaw State on May 6. The junior infielder had two hits, including a home run, in the victory. For the season, Rose is among the nation leaders in home runs (15) and RBIs (42). Topics included the win, his strong junior campaign, the team’s prospects for a conference championship and staying focused while avoiding distractions of a future professional career.
