The Sports Inquirer attended the postgame presser of Cleveland Cavs LeBron James and JR Smith following their team’s 97-89 road playoff win over Atlanta Hawks in game one of the Eastern Conference finals. James scored a game-high 31 points, had eight rebounds and a game-high six assists. Smith scored 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench. Topics included thoughts on the win, Hawks’ DeMarre Carroll injury and Smith’s maturation as a player.
