The Sports Inquirer caught up with Georgia State volleyball player Deidra Bohannon for an exclusive interview before practice on August 15. Topics with the senior outside hitter and All-Sun Belt performer included her offseason, thoughts on the early stages of fall camp, helping the Georgia State program grow, roles on and off the court and finally importance of academics in her college experience including pursuing a medical career. Georgia State opens the season on August 28 at Western Carolina.
