The Sports Inquirer spoke with Atlanta Dream player DeLisha Milton-Jones following her team’s contest against the Chicago Sky on August 29.
Milton–Jones has played in 497 career games, a WNBA record, surpassing Tina Thompson. She set the mark last Friday at Indiana.
Her resume includes two WNBA titles (with Los Angeles in 2001, 2002); two-time All-Star selections (2000, 2007); she is one of six players all-time with over 5,000 points and 2,400 rebounds, ranks fourth all-time in WNBA history in steals, sixth in career rebounds and ninth in points.
Topics of interview included thoughts on setting the record, coming back from a major injury this season and interests off the court.
