The Sports Inquirer spoke with Kennesaw State volleyball player Liesl Engelbrecht before her team’s practice on campus on Sept. 22. Topics with the freshman middle included the Owls’ 3-1 home win against Georgia Tech on Sept. 18 in which she had 10 kills, seven blocks and tree aces, the home atmosphere for that contest, overall impressions of the non-conference portion of the schedule, preparing for Atlantic Sun play and her journey from South Africa to Georgia as a child.

Kennesaw State returns to action at home on Saturday against USC Upstate.
