The Sports Inquirer spoke with Kennesaw State volleyball head coach Keith Schunzel following his team’s 3-2 home win over USC Upstate on Sept. 26. It was the Atlantic Sun Conference opener for both teams. Topics included overall thoughts on the win, the Owls’ defensive effort, using blocking as an offensive option, play of freshman outside hitter Sydni Shelton and the return of redshirt freshman Amariah Boyer.
