Co-Offensive Players of the Week
Jordan Howard, Indiana
Jr., RB, Gardendale, Ala./Gardendale

•           Carried the ball a season-high 33 times for 168 yards and a touchdown in Indiana’s victory at Wake Forest
•           Became the only Football Bowl Subdivision player in the last 20 seasons with at least 140 rushing yards in each of his first four games with a program
•           Guided the Hoosiers to a 4-0 start for the first time since 1990
•           Earns the first Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award of his career
•           Last Indiana Offensive Player of the Week: Tevin Coleman (Oct. 13, 2014)

Tommy Armstrong Jr., Nebraska
Jr., QB, Cibolo, Texas/Steele

•           Set a career high with 431 yards of total offense, including 368 passing yards and 63 rushing yards, in Nebraska’s victory over Southern Miss
•           Threw for two touchdowns and rushed for one more, leading the Nebraska offense to scores on each of its six first-half possessions
•           Registered his fourth 300-yard passing game in his last five contests
•           Claims the first Offensive Player of the Week award of his career

Co-Defensive Players of the Week
Shilique Calhoun, Michigan State
Sr., DE, Middletown, N.J./Middletown North

•           Recorded six tackles, three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one pass break-up as Michigan State improved to 4-0 on the season
•           Added four quarterback hurries and a blocked field goal
•           Matched his career highs for sacks and tackles for loss
•           Earns his second career Defensive Player of the Week honor and first since Sept. 9, 2013
•           Last Michigan State Defensive Player of the Week: Riley Bullough (Sept. 14, 2015)

Anthony Zettel, Penn State
Sr., DT, West Branch, Mich./Ogemaw Heights

•           Notched a career-high seven tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks, in Penn State’s win over San Diego State
•           Also recovered a fumble, the second of his career
•           His seven tackles led all Penn State players
•           Claims his first career Defensive Player of the Week honor
•           Last Penn State Defensive Player of the Week: Trevor Williams (Sept. 15, 2014)

Special Teams Player of the Week
Cameron Johnston, Ohio State
Jr., P, Geelong, Australia/St. Joseph’s

•           Averaged 51.5 yards per punt over four attempts against Western Michigan, with three punts placed inside the 20-yard line
•           Two punts were downed inside the 10-yard line, including one at the one-yard line
•           Helped the Buckeyes hold the Broncos to zero punt return yards in the contest
•           Claims his second career Special Teams Player of the Week honor and first since Sept. 30, 2013
•           Last Ohio State Special Teams Player of the Week: Bradley Roby (Oct. 7, 2013)

Freshman of the Week
Taiwan Deal, Wisconsin
RB, Capitol Heights, Md./DeMatha

•           Rushed the ball 26 times for a career-high 147 yards in Wisconsin’s win over Hawaii
•           Recorded a pair of first-half touchdowns, giving the Badgers a 14-0 lead at halftime
•           Made his first career start in the contest
•           Wins his first career weekly award
