The Sports Inquirer attended the post-game presser of Boston Celtics’ players Marcus Smart and Isaiah Thomas following their team’s 102-101 road defeat in Game One of its first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks on April 16.
Thomas scored a game-high 27 points and a team-high eight assists while Smart scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds off the bench.
Topics included thoughts on the loss, losing teammate Avery Bradley to injury and needed adjustments heading into the next contest.
Game two of the series will take place on April 19.
