The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia Tech volleyball player Ashley Askin before her team’s practice on Sept. 20. She had nine kills off the bench in the Yellow Jackets’ 3-2 win at Coastal Carolina on Sept. 17.
Topics with the junior outside hitter included the Coastal victory, contributing off the bench, overcoming adversity and preparing for the opening of ACC play.
The Yellow Jackets return to action on Friday at Pittsburgh in both teams’ ACC opener.
