The Sports Inquirer attended the post-game presser of Atlanta Dream players Bria Holmes (left), Angel McCoughtry (center) and Elizabeth Williams (right) following their team’s 94-85 home win over the Seattle Storm in the first round of the WNBA playoffs on Sept. 22.
McCoughtry scored a game-high 37 points with seven assists while Holmes had 21 points and seven rebounds and Williams grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds with nine points.
Topics included thoughts on the win, earning a victory for suspended teammate Tiffany Hayes, having playoff experience, overcoming sluggish second quarter and preparing for the next round.
