The Sports Inquirer attended the post-practice presser of Georgia State football player Mackendy Cheridor on Oct. 11. The junior defensive end collected seven tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble in the Panthers’ 41-21 home win over Texas State on Oct. 8. For his efforts, Cheridor was named the Sun Belt Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week.
