The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia Tech volleyball player Annika Van Gunst before her team’s practice on Nov. 1.
She had nine digs and seven kills in the Yellow Jackets’ 3-0 home win over Clemson on Oct. 26. Van Gunst picked up her 1,000th career dig in the victory.
Topics included Van Gunst reaching the career milestone, her time as a Yellow Jackets’ player, the team’s nine-match winning streak and avoiding outside distractions while competing for an ACC Championship.
Georgia Tech returns to action on Friday at home against Virginia Tech.
