The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of Georgia State basketball player D’Marcus Simonds before his team’s practice on Feb. 24. He scored a team-high 18 points in the Panthers’ 67-51 Sun Belt Conference home win over Texas State on Feb. 20.
Topics included thoughts on the win, difference in play of team in the second half of that contest, learning from late-game defeats earlier this season and concluding the regular season.
Georgia State returns to action on Feb. 25 at Arkansas-Little Rock in a conference contest.
