The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of Georgia Southern football head coach Tyson Summers at the Sun Belt Media Day event in New Orleans on July 25. Topics included thoughts on the team’s preparation for the upcoming season, rebounding from a disappointing end to the 2016 campaign, the Eagles’ offensive philosophy and the high championship standards of the program. Georgia Southern opens its 2017 season at Auburn on Sept. 2.
