The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of Georgia State football head coach Shawn Elliott following his team’s 46-14 home win over Louisiana Monroe on Sept. 29. He had two tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in the victory. Topics included the Panthers’ improved play on defense, rushing for more than 300 yards on offense, converting third downs and importance of earning win in first Sun Belt Conference contest of season.
