The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State running back Tra Barnett following the team’s practice on Sept. 2 for an exclusive interview. The sophomore running back had a game-high 95 rushing yards and a touchdown in the Panthers’ 38-30 road win against Tennessee on Aug. 31. Topics included the win, Georgia State’s ability to run the ball against Tennessee using the option, the reception the team has received after the win, Barnett working with fellow underclassmen running backs and the Panthers preparing to host Furman on Sept. 7.
