The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia Tech volleyball player Mariana Brambilla before her team’s practice on Sept. 11 for an exclusive interview. The sophomore outside hitter had 15 kills in the Yellow Jackets’ 3-1 home win over Lipscomb on Sept. 6 and was named to the Hyatt Regency Invitational the next day.

Topics included Georgia Tech’s 5-1 start to the 2019 campaign, Brambilla’s comfort level as a sophomore after moving to the United States from Brazill in 2018, playing as a right side and outside in Georgia Tech’s system and areas of improvement through the non-conference portion of the schedule. Georgia Tech faces Louisiana at the OU Nike Invitational in Norman, Oklahoma on Sept. 13.
