The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State volleyball player Jordan Shoemaker for an exclusive interview Sept. 23. Topics included the team’s 3-2 win over Mercer in the Panthers’ home opener Sept. 18 in which Shoemaker posted a match-high 45 assists, having fans in attendance, Shoemaker’s defensive responsibilities as a setter, setting up teammates for offensive opportunities, entering her second season with the Georgia State program and preparing to visit Troy in the Sun Belt opener Sept. 25.
