The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State volleyball player Meisheia Griffin for an exclusive interview Nov. 18 following her team’s 3-1 victory over Arkansas State in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament the same day. The senior middle had a team-high 14 kills along with a match-high seven blocks in the win. Topics included the victory, being named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year and preparing to face South Alabama in the tournament quarterfinals Nov. 19.
