The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State football player Thomas Gore for an exclusive interview Nov. 23. The sophomore defensive lineman had seven tackles along with a career-high two sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss in the Panthers’ 28-20 home win over Arkansas State Nov. 20. Topics included Gore’s career-setting performance while being sick, the team’s defensive effort, Georgia State becoming bowl eligible, Gore’s prep career in the state of Tennessee including being a state champion as a wrestler and shot put thrower as well as the team preparing to host Troy in its regular season finale Nov. 27.
