The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of Georgia State men’s basketball head coach Rob Lanier following his team’s 61-50 road win against Coastal Carolina in Sun Belt play Feb. 10. Topics included the Panthers’ defensive effort, junior post player Jalen Thomas posting a double-double along with four blocks, the assertive offense of senior guard Kane Williams and the Panthers preparing to visit conference leader Appalachian State Feb. 12.
