The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia Tech softball player Mallorie Black for an exclusive interview March 9. Topics with the sophomore infielder from Cumming, Georgia included the Yellow Jackets’ fast start to the season, Black’s growth as a hitter and fielder during her second year of college softball, working alongside upperclassmen teammates, receiving mentorship from head coach Aileen Morales, choosing to attend Georgia Tech and facing elite competition within the ACC including a home series against nationally-ranked Florida State starting March 11.
