The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of U.S. Soccer CEO JT Batson and President Cindy Parlow Cone at the groundbreaking of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayette County April 8.

Topics included the selection of Fayette County as the sight of the training center, the decision to name it after Arthur Blank, the impact the facility will have on the Georgia soccer community, a breakdown of what will be on the property and how it will help the national teams for the Men’s World Cup in 2026 and the Summer Olympics in 2028, both in the United States.
