The Sports Inquirer attended the presser of Georgia State football following practice October 22. Head coach Dell McGee, linebacker Josiah Robinson and running back CJ Beasley spoke about the team looking to rebound from its road loss to Marshall October 17 and preparing to visit Appalachian State October 26.
McGee also discussed new starting quarterback Zach Gibson acclimating into the position, having a full week to prepare for the Mountaineers and recruiting. Robinson and Beasley, who both transferred into the program from Coastal Carolina reflected on their previous contests against Appalachian State and hoping to help Georgia State get their first-ever win against its Saturday opponent.
