The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State football head coach Dell McGee following the team’s 38-31 home loss to South Alabama in Sun Belt Conference play October 23.
Topics included the Panthers’ defensive struggles in the first half, the comeback effort in the second half including taking a lead in the contest, the play of quarterback Cameran Brown, trying to overcome injuries particularly on defense, the team not being bowl eligible with seven losses on the season and trying to use the upcoming bye week to prepare for its next game at Coastal Carolina in conference play November 8.
