The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia Tech volleyball player Mikaila Dowd before her team’s practice on Nov. 19 for an exclusive interview. In the Yellow Jackets’ 3-1 road win at Virginia on Nov. 16, the freshman outside hitter notched her 10th double-double of the season, tallying 20 kills and 10 digs. It was Dowd’s fifth 20-kill performance of the season and she also finished with a career-high four service aces. She was named the ACC Freshman of the Week.
