The Sports Inquirer spoke with Georgia State football player Jordan Strachan for an exclusive interview Nov. 18. Topics with the junior outside linebacker included the Panthers trying to rebound from its close loss at Appalachian State the previous week, Strachan setting the team’s sack record for a season, having a bounce-back season after an injury-shortened 2019 campaign, what he learned from the year away from playing, having a prep career at highly-competitive Camden County and Georgia State preparing to face South Alabama Nov. 21.
The Sports Inquirer attended the post-game presser of Georgia State football player Tra Barnett following the team’s 28-15 home win over South Alabama in Sun Belt action on Nov. 23. The senior running back rushed for a game-high 128 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Topics included the victory, the Panthers winning its seventh game of the season tying the school record, playing his final home game for Georgia State and becoming the first player in program history with more than 2,000 career rushing yards.
