Georgia State has announced a future football home and home series with Vanderbilt, marking the first time the Panthers will host a school from the Southeastern Conference.
Georgia State will host Vanderbilt on Sept. 28, 2024, and then make the trip to Nashville a season later to face the Commodores on Sept. 20, 2025.
The Panthers have also has announced a future football home and home series with North Carolina, marking the first time they will host a school from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Panthers will travel to Chapel Hill on Sept. 11, 2021, with North Carolina returning to Atlanta the following season to play Georgia State on Sept. 10, 2022.
With the additions, Georgia State now has games scheduled through the 2025 season.
Last season, Georgia State won its final four regular season games and finished the 2016 season 6-7 record after making its first appearance in the AutoNation Cure Bowl, just six years after the inception of the program.
The 2016 and 2017 non-conference schedules are complete and just one more game is needed for the 2018 season. This upcoming year, the Panthers will host Ball State and UT Martin, while making trips to Air Force and Wisconsin.
