Atlanta Hawks’ Tavares and Patterson assigned to D-League

The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has assigned guard/forward Lamar Patterson and center Edy Tavares to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, pursuant to the flexible assignment rule, it was announced by President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.

Patterson has seen action in five D-League contests this year with Austin, recording 16.2 points, 6.6 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals (.422 FG%, .778 FT%).

Tavares has played in 12 D-League games this season (10 with Austin and two with Canton), averaging 9.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 21.1 minutes (.672 FG%, .761 FT%).
